The Song in the Nightclub

When the scene shifts to the nightclub, and Zita Johann is dancing, the orchestra is playing a lovely song called "Beautiful Love."
I have come across most of the lyrics to the song but would like to know more about that song and the composer and lyricist.
Thanks

A decade later, here's a recording of the song~with vocals~from 1931:

I'm watching the film yet again on TCM right now, at least the 50th time (if not more) that I've watched it during my 60+ years of life. For some reason, I never searched for this hauntingly lovely waltz till now. Next, I think I'll listen to Al Bowlly singing "Close Your Eyes"; the best video is this song matched to footage from "Metropolis". It works!
