The princess died because she was very sick, correct? If so, the movie doesn't reveal exactly what kind of illness she had. Anyone have any ideas? Just curious. LOL

Good question. Back then almost 4,000 years ago it could have been anything. Maybe even tuberculosis or an infection. People would just die and nobody would know why.
