ancient pre-code flick. Karloff was the screen's best Fu -- far better than sloppy Warner Oland. This should be remade with big budget and starring John Lone who is a wonderful Chinese actor. Also, keep the original rich dialog. Superb!

The great line by Karloff when he asks his hordes "Would you take a woman such as this for your bride?" (horde bays their approval) "Then BREED!! Kill the white man and take his women!!"
It was so cool to see this uncut...complete with un PC references to both Chinese ("What?? Beaten by a Chinaman!!???") the Christian west ("You will soon be despatched to your cold, Christian, Heaven)..Myna Loy's nympho sadist and Karloff chewing the scenery like some deranged panto villain.
