Archeology, 1930's Hollywood style

When you see archeology on TV today or depicted in films you see people crouching over a space about two foot square..removing small amounts of earth with a gardening trowel and brushing away sand and dirt to gradually reveal what's beneath with brushes...so as not to damage anything..

Now take a look at the team or archeologists in this when they look for Ghengis Khan's tomb. They're shovelling earth all over the place, attacking the site with picks..they smash the seal...cut through the restraints on the tomb and just steam in!!
Also did anyone else find it strange the way Nayland Smith pronounced the word 'museum'? Instead of saying 'mew-SE-um' he was saying 'MOO-seum'
