What types of planes were used in The Lost Squadron?

Are there any aircraft experts out there who can list me all the types of aircraft used in this film, and most particularly, the one which appears as the words "The Lost Squadron" come up in the opening credits (you'll have to use freeze frame - this one type in particular has baffled me for years)?
