for old car buffs

This movie is priceless for anyone into old cars. I really wish they would release this movie on DVD, I'd love to freeze frame the picture so I could identify all the vintage cars they wrecked in the "road hog" version. Anyone remember the part at the beginning when all the relatives are sitting around the living room obviously waiting for him to die? The kid turns on the Victrola which just happens to play a song verse "I'll be glad when you're dead you rascal you". I remember lmao at that when I saw this movie as a kid.

Been a while since your post but I just caught this on TV in Australia.
That car wrecking sequence with WC Fields is a classic for sure. The way they pull up at the end with all the drivers was a crackup.

You remember the coppers shooting the kids balloon too? That was my lmao moment.

"What's the rumpus?"

And i bet Mr. Capra cast May Robson in her BEST role,"Lady For a Day"-1933... after seeing her in this 1932 movie... I'm a HARD, CRUSTY ol' boy....she had me in her role in this movie!!! GREAT performance!
