While on their way state side after WW1-James Allen and his platoon are chewing the fat.Their moment of levity is interrupted by a loud speaker call for "bed inspection". The character "Tex" reacts with-"If anyone calls me for bed inspection back home,they'll be SOL if I do anything"
I thought it was great hearing-"SOL" considering today's youth thinks they invented the acronym.
