I found it in a collection of musicals on DVDs. "Hollywood Musicals- 10 Classic Musicals on 3 DVDs" (featuring Fred Astaire, Vivian Blaine, Lana Turner and more!)by St.Clair Vision. Don't remember where I bought it, probably a clearance bin. It is under the title "Three Broadway Girls" and makes no mention the original title but it is the same movie.
shareSince this film is in the public domain it can be downloaded from archive.org at http://www.archive.org/details/3_broadway_girls. I'm not sure if there are any better copies, but this one is pretty good.
shareThat's where I got it too.
Boy, that Schatzi is a flat out whoo-er!
You get a sense from watching this how the Hayes Code set back American Cinema.
LOL! WHOO-ER!
Yes, she is!
I got my copy under the original title of The Greeks Had a Word for Them in a 5 DVD box from AMC. The name of the collection is called "Vamps And Vixens Classics."
It's a cute comedy, and... as hooper-xxx above stated, it makes the mind wonder how cinematic history might have totally changed, had there been no "code" in the first place.
Trust me,
Swan
My, you're nosey, aren't you?
