Can't get into this

Some of my favourite actors are here. Great director. And I love 1931-1932 movies. But this lays flat. I have to keep pulling my concentration back because I drift off, make shopping lists.

Compared to other classics of its time period, this one must have been made for critics. It's sure not entertaining for more than a third of the film.

Lionel Barrymore's marvelous, as usual.
