Locations Found for "Free Wheeling"

After some research, I located the filming locations for "Free Wheeling."

1. When the car is getting towed by the moving truck up a hill with a cliff wall and staircase on the left, that is Woodrow Wilson Drive in Los Angeles, right off Cahuenga and Mulholland (right where Mulholland ends by the 101 Freeway). The rock formations and brick drainpipe going down the cliff wall are identical, along with the posts and chains on the right of the shot. The wood staircase is long gone.

2. The downhill scenes were shot on Outpost Drive, starting at the top of the hill intersection with Mulholland Drive. Basically, all of Outpost between Mulholland and Castilian Drive was used (before the houses and trees on Outpost went in, I might add) Confirmed this by referencing curbs, lamp posts (which are still there), storm drain openings and manhole covers.

3. The process shot scenes (rear projection) may be either Pacific View Drive or another section of Woodrow Wilson Drive, but hard to confirm.

In general, all seems to have been filmed in the same area of Hollywood.
