shown in new Diane Keaton movie 'Because I Said So'

This is the movie that Diana Keaton's character in "Because I Said So" is so enraptured with that it is on her television in several scenes...
maybe because it has fallen into public domaine and there were no copyrights infringements to worrry about--maybe because of the real chemistry between Cooper and Hayes for those who have watched a credible copy of the movie---maybe because it was a doomed love affair and this movie is doomes as well---terribly trite, over acted, and presents tremendously bad decision making on the parts of the characters, director writer---but wondered if anyone in the audience even recognized what she was watching....

Was it really? Hmmm...now I'm curious.

are you curious that I got the movie on her tv correct
or are you curious that my assessment of HER movie as trite was correct...
Cooper and Hayes good....Keaton bad...

I was curious because I really liked a farewell to arms, and it would be fun to see it mentioned in a modern film.
