Agreed. Early 30's flicks is the hottest she ever looked, Most Dangerous Game, King Kong, Mystery of the Wax Museum, etc. Perhaps she could have risen above the B-movie damsel stereotype and had a more notable career if her acting hadn't been so subpar in contrast to her competition, i.e. Maureen O'Sullivan, who managed to go from Tarzan's Jane to Pride and Prejudice to Hannah and Her Sisters.

I have to agree she looked very sexy in this movie. I love that sexy look she gave Lee Tracy a couple times.

I never found O'Sullivan very attractive, and I think Wray was not only sexier, but a better actress. I'm glad Wray never ended up doing cheesy Tarzan movies.

What Fay Wray had that was unique was a sensuous vulnerability that no other actress could match. It was most prominent in King Kong and was key to the success of that movie but you catch glimpses of it in movies like Doctor X when Moon has his hand around her throat.
