"Uncredited" Richard Towers ? certainly not.

According to IMDb, Richard Towers, who was Director of Photography on the black and white version of DOCTOR X, would be "uncredited".
This is totally wrong.
I have both the Technicolor and the Black-and-White versions, and if Ray Rennahan is credited as Director of Photography (alone) for the Technicolor version, Richard Towers gets a similar credit (also alone) for the Black & White version.
Both versions are different, some of the scenes are played differently by the same actors, etc.
