Misnomer as a 'Ginger Rogers' starrer

Ginger is delightful and wonderful in any of her movies, but she has to be actually PRESENT on-screen to be wonderful. In this movie, "Carnival Boat," it is badly misidentified as a Ginger Rogers vehicle.

Unfortunately, she only appears in about 10% of the scenes. The rest is trouble and strife in a logging camp, with concomitant jealousies and rivalries.

Interesting as a period piece, but not good enough to be viewed more than once. Some good scenes of the logging world, tree-felling and a log flume, but not much more than that.

In all fairness Ginger Rogers was not top billing in Carnival Boat, it was William Boyd. So it was his characters' story mattered more hence the majority of the scenes being about 'trouble and strife in a logging camp, with concomitant jealousies and rivalries'.

Though on a personal note it would have been nice to see Rogers in more scenes since she's the only reason I watched Carnival Boat.

Rogers is in about to 20% of the movie.
