This is airing on Fox Movie Channel!

Usually, they repeat many of their movies, so it's liable to show up again though I don't see it being aired in the next few days, having checked the cable guide. FOX has been expanding its movie library a lot during the past several months. Prior to this, I saw it on TCM, but FOX is bound to run it more often.

It's amazing that Gilbert Roland got handsomer as the years passed! This is the youngest I've seen him. *sigh* I developed such a crush on him long ago when I saw "Miracle at Fatima" on TV. He's always been such a beautiful man with a wonderful voice.

I checked their web site, and they don't list any upcoming showings. Trouble is that I looked earlier this month, and a search on their site came up blank. Maybe their search engine doesn't go ahead more than a week.

They ran this last summer and I've been waiting for another showing in order to record it. It had already been on for ten minutes when I noticed it this morning.

I'm not female or gay, but I have to admit that Roland is one attractive man. And he did get better looking as he matured. He steals The Bad and the Beautiful from its starry cast and he was the best thing about The Big Circus. I saw the latter with my sister way back in 1959 and while she went in to look at David Nelson, she came out talking about Gilbert Roland.

I'd love to see The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima again. It's been about 40 years since I saw it, but it was Roland who made the film for me.

Gilbert Roland was indeed a wonderful actor and great-looking man for his entire motion picture career. Bette Davis agreed and wrote highly about him as a person and fellow actor. Another film, "The French Line", is not a great movie, but he plays a leading man and is just terrific. I also like "The Furies" (why Barbara Stanwyck didn't take off with him in the film is a real mystery).
