Did Kubrick "steal" the Blue Danube scene from here?

The ressemblance between the Blue Danube scene here and in "2001" is pretty striking. Not only of course because because of the musical piece, but also the boats glide on the water with same quiet rhythm than the spaceships in Kubrick´s movie; wonder if Kubrick took inspiration from "Boudu".
