where can copies of this movie be obtained VHS or DVD

Unless you know somebody who recorded it in the early 90's on the old AMC, back when it really was American Movie Classics, you are out of luck. This Paramount film belongs to Universal, and they've only released their big name stuff on DVD. More than likely this piece of radio history, with stars that most people would not know today, is not slated for release even on MOD by Universal.

AMC stopped playing it's really old stuff after TCM came on the air in 1994 due to its direct competition and changed format completely in 2002.

I got mine from a seller on I-offer for $8. It was an AMC off the air recording but I'm satisfied with it. After all technology was only so much advanced in 1932 (but sound technology was getting better)

Go to www.lovingtheclassics.com. You can get a pretty good DVD of it there.
