Title music and pre-code cuts

In the trivia notes here it mentions that the surviving version of this film has replaced titles and underlying music. The underlying music in the DVD release is different from that in a 16mm print I used to have which was definitely late '30s-early '40s. Maybe the music in the DVD is the original music.

I suspect that what we have left today might also have some pre-code goodies removed from it.

I wonder if whoever prepared the DVD bothered to look for an original version.
