Great movie!

I recently purchased the TCM Greatest Gangster Films Collection. I was very pleasantly surprised by this movie. The dialog is fun and the performances are heartfelt. Edward G. Robinson brings so much affability and warmth to the Nick the Barber character. He has an optimism that is very contagious even when the chips are down. His kindness and forgiving nature make him a memorable character.
