Is There a Piece Missing from the Stanwyck Bit?

***Minor Spoiler Alert***

In my edition of The Stolen Jools, when Barbara Stanwyck announces that she is going to read her poem, there is a momentary jump in the film (though no change shows on the DVD counter). After the jump, her husband is turning away, and then Stanwyck says, "Wait a minute -- there's more!" So it might look as if she read some of the poem, and her husband turned away (presumably because it was so bad), and that a few seconds were cut.

On the other hand, the jump in the film might be just a momentary, half-second flaw, and so there might be nothing missing at all. In that case, then clearly the joke is that she says "Wait a minute, there's more!" before she has actually read any of it. That would be typical of the humor throughout the film.

Has anyone else got a better print, without the jump in the scene, who can say whether or not anything is missing at that point in my print?
