Sexy Gable in Chauffeur Uniform

Was anyone else impressed with how very well Clark Gable filled out his chauffeur uniform?

Especially the scene where he's toe to toe with Barbara Stanwyck in the kitchen during the milk bath. The knee length, leather boots were the finishing touch on that 6'1" hunk of man.

Then his last scene, menacing Mortie the bootlegger, with the slightly mussed hair. A star.
