Why such love?

Is it because it's old?
Is this like the case where a child is a decent singer but they're "great for their age"?

It took way to long to get to the thought-provoking part, and then that part was over quickly.

Blah.

We all knew how the murderer was going to get discovered. If the film's point was to examine death penalty, why was it such a small portion of the film?

I honestly can't understand why anyone would want to revisit this film and watch it again... which, I suppose is a big factor for me in determining my enjoyment of it.

I fell asleep twice and had to pick back up where I left off, just to say I gave it a fair chance.

I don't see what others enjoy on this one. Ah well.
