Jan & Dean?

Jan Berry and Dean Torrence (of the popular 1960's singing duo, Jan & Dean) were very big fans of Laurel & Hardy (no doubt, from the films like, "...Laughing 20's", and such which were supported by the 1960's nostalgia craze). But after Jan had his accident near Dead Man's Curve, Dean Torrence had a little side project which he named "Laughing Gravy". I Know they put out at least two 45's with one of the song titles being, "The Snow On Laughing Gravy's Face". Does anyone else know anything about this band? I would really like to know more about this side project, but nothing I can find on the web (not even J&D's official site) talks about it. HELP!

You might want to try wikipedia.com - not so much for the info on Jan and Dean held there, which will obviously be limited, but for the links they can provide. It's possible you might get the info you want from one of those leads. Sorry that this reply is the first in 3 years!

I don't know anything about Jan & Dean, except for what was discussed in the movie about them (and I haven't seen that in years). Laughing Gravy sounds like something from the late 60s though.
