DVD Coming Soon or What?!?!

Revenge is a dish best served cold. I really enjoyed the Fritz Lang version, Scarlet Street. Last year I found out that "Scarlet Street" was based on the Jean Renoir classic "La Chienne." I have been waiting with an insatiable eagerness for this movie to be released on a DVD format so that I may compare both. I was going to buy "La Chienne" from amazon.fr but it had no english subtitles, and what a shame that is because it would only increase world appeal/sales if they has added the english subtitles. Anyway, if anyone has any idea when this movie will be released on DVD, please let me know on this website or drop me an email. In the meantime, does anyone else share my sentiments about both of the movies I mentioned within this posting?

Why no English subtitled DVD or even VHS? Why, God, Why?

Very much so. I really rate Scarlet street, and have been trying to find this for ages. Last week I thought I had - cheap as well- but only in French with Chinese subtiles. Drat.
