this movie was a snooze

I mean where is all the cg and action at? him punching a wall? just kidding I know it was released in 1931 before they had any of that. But I didnt really appreciate this film at all. There was a couple silly scenes and I chuckled here and there but all in all it was a snooze.

Yeah this movie is pretty outdated, the acting and the overall story/writing are very old-fashioned by today's standards.

But there's a lot of other films from the same year (1931) that are less of a snooze. Movies like:

City Lights
Dracula
Frankenstein
A Free Soul
Little Caesar
M
Platinum Blonde
The Public Enemy
Street Scene

Sorry you can't appreciate the relationship between Dink and his dad,the champ.
The ending of this film has me crying everytime...I guess you should stick with Michael Mann,Surround Sound,CGI.
You are of the class that"watch" movies and have no paitence for dialouge.
