Dog meat?

Did she own a dog? I thought she did---hopefully, the "dog meat" was for the pooch! Kind of stupid, this movie, the star was annoying, but I guess that's the way they wanted her to act. Thank heavens for Women's Lib decades later! Wish those ladies hadn't had to put up with being treated that way, but if audiences found it entertaining, well.....
