I've Got My Eye On You...

I first became aware of this film and the musical excerpt from Kevin Brownlow's documentary HOLLYWOOD. The scene was used to illustrate the triumph of the Sound Film over 'Silents' in the finally, episode#13 'END OF A ERA'. Watching it for the first time on TCM I knew I had seen the scene from SHOWGIRL IN HOLLYWOOD (1930) somewhere before. A dated, but interesting antique.
