This movie was on today even though I've seen it often on TCM

This movie is one for the ladies, a typical Kathleen Norris romantic novel scripted to fit into a typical Kay Frances movie. Dulce (Kay Frances) falls in love with Dan Wallace (Charles Bickford), the family chauffeur against her father's wishes. When Dan is about to divorce his wife (played by Kay Johnson), he will receive a letter form his wife and have a change of heart.

The chauffeur falls in love with Kay Johnson's character and it is her rich father who disowns her. They are poor and her cousin who has married a wealthy man, offers her a place to live on her ranch. She made the offer as a wedding present when they married but her uncle (who is Kay Johnson's father) insisted the man was after his money). He was not and he turned it down. He could not find work. But his son had no place to play in the city and one day the child's friend was hit by a car & killed. So they moved to the ranch. He and Dulce (Kay Francis) fell in love because she was always after him , even her husband noticed) as he worked her ranch for her.
