Slap Massage

Does anyone know the name of the massage technique given by Louise Carver Masseuse near the beginning of the movie? It's the scene where the woman takes a phone call from the madam as she's getting the heck slapped out of her. Check the links below.

Whatever it was, the massage didn't seem to relaxing or helpful to relieve muscle tension. As if the main goals were for the masseuse to get her stress out and the massagee to turn pink all over.
