Interesting to LOOK at, anyway

The ladies are so CUTE! Such pretty frocks! "I love a big house filled with people" one of them declares, and who wouldn't? Extremely talky and dated, a glimpse of the idle, beautifully dressed, rich and famous at leisure (in a big house with those huge flower arrangements in every room), nattering away endlessly. Not much fun, though, a half hour of this is more than enough.

I guess I enjoyed it more, since I laughed out loud quite a few times. I love early talkies, and don't really find them boring at all. I guess that when I watch I put myself in the position of a 1930 viewer. I'll bet they loved this stuff back then, since it seems so adult in content, and has some funny twists.

He was on Planet Earth the whole time!
