I think the scene where they are having breakfast is unrivaled in terms of young all consuming love. Barbara Stanwyck nearly goes mad trying to contain her love for the man. You can tell she just wants to jump into his lamp and make wild passionate love with him.
sharejump into his "lamp" ? that sounds dirty. ( i know, it was a typo...) Kay (stanwycke in one of her very first roles) was given some clever lines and more brains than her roommate had... A fun bit where the roommate sings while on the vibrating exercise machine. The first half has some fun, upbeat lines, but the second half is very predictable. /ksf-2

Her expressions in that scene are so precious. She was amazing in this movie. I just love this movie so much, I thought Stanwyck and the male actor were fantastic.
