Come on - SPOILER ALERT!

This movie isn't bad but it annoys me. Are we to believe these people had to go through all the things they went through just to figure out they love each other and want to be together? Come on. They couldn't manage to commit to each other before but now they're really going to forego all others and wait five to ten years to be together again?

It's hard to sympathize with either of them because it feels more to me like they brought all this on themselves. It should be a cautionary tale or a reminder that people should just tell the truth. If you care about someone, don't play games and try to be coy about it, let them know. It's all pretty ridiculous not to.

Also, what's the basis for dropping the case on her? I must be missing quite a bit because it seems to me someone was killed and though they know who did it they're just going to drop the case? That's weird.
