Movies made in two languages
I know this movie was made simultaneously in german and english with same cast and crew, producing two diferent movies.
Does anybody know other cases in which this have occurred?

Before dubbing became common, many movies were filmed simultaneously in two or even three languages, with different casts but the same sets and basically the same script. For example, a Spanish version of Dracula, starring Carlos Villar, was shot at the same time as the Bela Lugosi version. The 1935 film Transatlantic Tunnel was filmed in English, French and German versions.
All the universe . . . or nothingness. Which shall it be, Passworthy? Which shall it be?
A lot of movies with Lilian Harvey were made in different languages, e.g.

'Nie wieder Liebe'

though most of the crew was replaced for the different versions.
Another interesting movie is 'Das Boot' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082096/. It was shot only once but most of the germans dubbed themselves for the english synchronization.
The practice was particularly common at MGM where foreign distribution was the most significant. Anna Christie with Garbo was shot in English and German. Most MGM features of 1930-1931 were shot in English and Spanish, and occasionally French and Italian.

Does anybody know other cases in which this have occurred?I've heard of a few examples of movies being made simultaneously, usually in German, but I don't know if they've always used the exact same cast. Anna Christie, with Greta Garbo, had nearly the same cast. The male lead I think was the only one who was different, I think.
