Why is this not in the top 250?

This movie has 8.1 rating from over 40 000 users, and is well over the 25 000 votes mark. Why is it not in the toplist?
it would be between 155 and 208 but is not listed.

It depends on the algorithm that IMDB use and I suspect it does not get many recent votes as its an old film and newer films get more votes.

I was sure that it was on there just a few months ago. It certainly deserves to be.

It disappeared in December 2013 with an 8.0 rating. But I agree, it deserves to be in the top 250!

Who cares? The top 250 is completely infested with capedung nowadays anyways. People don't deserve to know about and watch films like this.

Because there aren't any superheroes in it.

Deadpool is in the Top 250 but All Quiet on the Western Front isn't. There's something very wrong with that!
