Horse and piano scene

Does anyone know the technical set-up that was used in the horse and piano scene? There is obviously a live horse on a "piano" and there are extended gags around that. I could not see any obvious wires or supports or other sorts of machinery that would allow the "piano" to hold the horse, nor to move up and down as the missing "piano leg" is attempted to be reinserted.
