.....so ridiculously overacted in this movie I had to forward through most of her scenes. Good LORD she was awful!

Can't say I agree. I just found her to be a very cheerful and playful girl who grew up with animals, and overly protected from the cruel real world by her father. She's extremely innocent, and plays the part very nicely, and with so much energy.
