Thinking her skirt would have been shockingly short for the time, in the 20's women barely showed their ankles, this one barely covered her tush, must have scandalous for 1929!
shareThe 1920s showed a lot - think of flappers and chorus girls. You are thinking of a whole other decade. Plus, these films made were before the Hays Code was enacted...you could even show very brief nudity back then on film and very naughty subject matter.
