Scheduled on TCM December 14

The Trespasser will make its TCM debut in December. I assume this is the Eastman House print I saw there a few years ago.

awww-right!!! This is great and I won't miss it or have the opportunity to record it. Made my day.

I happened to catch it and thought it most interesting. I wonder why it didn't get an evening 'premiere treatment'.

TCM is sometimes weird with their handling of truly rare movies. Last year they broadcast a beautiful print of Jean Harlow's THREE WISE GIRLS (1932) a Columbia film that most Harlow fans believe had never been shown on television since the early 1960's and just dumped it in a mid-morning slot. Oh well, let's just be grateful TCM is unearthing these long anticipated rarities because certainly no other channel would bother to do so.

You are so right Harlow! Thanks to TCM, all of us can view this gem which probably when I was a boy first interested in movies, would have been considered a "lost film."

And I agree with the other poster who wondered why TCM didn't give The Trespasser more of a build-up considering the mega-watt star power of La Swanson! But who's to complain?

He was on Planet Earth the whole time!
