Bernard Siegel as Chahi, the medicine man

I realize that in 1929 it would've been expected that the lead Indian roles would go to non-Native Americans, but I thought it pretty funny that, of all the non-Native Americans available, the role of Chahi, The Medicine Man, went to Mrs. Siegel's son Bernie. She would've been proud of her son, the doctor!
