I really enjoyed this movie!
I really enjoyed this movie.
I particularly liked the performance of Robert Armstrong.
Of the several movies of Armstrong's that I have seen, I thought that this one showed Armstrong's potential to be a leading man.
He was handsome and was starting to show that he had a "softer side" to his personality. Even though he played a tough guy, he became more vulnerable because of his love for Rhoda. This made him a more appealing character.
Carole Lombard was luminous as Rhoda. You could tell that she had a future in motion pictures.
Whenever I see a movie like this, I always wish that there were still actors and actresses who had the genuine star quality of artists like Armstrong and Lombard.
