VHS or DVD

This movie needs to be released on either VHS or DVD (or both). I can't believe it has not been done.
I thought it was a great movie, and pretty amazing for 1928.
The only VHS tapes or DVDs I've seen of this movie were made by taping it off TV. Does anyone know if it was ever released on video? I know you can't get it now, but maybe sometime in the past?
Thanks,
Barry

This film has finally been released as a "burned on demand" DVD-R title from Warner Home Archive. Alas, no shipping outside of America, but at least it's been given an official release.

this movie is a mess. its a ripoff of Wings to the degree of being pitiful, then copying Intolerence or trying to which again is a failure. It doesnt know what it wants to be silent or sound. Obviously it was made silent then at the last minute scenes were reshot talking. the restoration was great but it could not save the movie.

Typical cliched criticism of today.... "It doesn't know what it wants to be!!!!"

As if any movie is a living, breathing thing capable of deciding on it's own what it will be when it "grows up." Noah's Ark is a "goat gland" film. Other movies of that time did the same thing to capitalize on the use of sound. To make it more competitive with talkies. Deal with it.
