Who was June Purcell?

She is spotlighted in a number "Low Down Rhythm," and yet she is virtually unknown. Her IMDb page only lists her birthdate and a total of 2 projects, and yet, she gets her own number in this movie.

A Hollywood mystery.

This page http://vitaphone.blogspot.com/2007/02/magic-casements.html doesn't completely solve the mystery of June Purcell but does give some explanation for her presence in "The Hollywood Revue of 1929". She apparently was a radio and vaudeville star. Scroll down to the article "Turn of the Century New York City Medley" which is above a picture of Bessie Love, Anita Page, and Charles King posed with a huge phonograph record with the Earl Burtnett Biltmore Hotel Orchestra. At the bottom of the article is an mp3 link to her singing "Low Down Rhythm" with Earl Burtnett's orchestra (a vocal refrain after a long instrumental intro).
