Expensive Bomb at the time

Unlike anything I have ever seen in a silent,and I have seen at least 60 over the years.New like print,and a big cast.A mix of Religion,Atheism,Prison Terror,and Romance.Everything is really overshadowed by the time in prison with an especially cruel Warden(Wallace Beery)with some hard to watch brutal scenes.Tom Keene is a handsome devil that would of been a leading man nowadays,Lina was sweet,and Marie Provost reminded me of Gloria Grahame.I gave it a 7,because its is unpleasant in many parts,and I wouldn't want to see it again.However I am glad it was saved,because it was such a disaster,back in 29,putting out a silent when sound was available.
