Patchy, though it may seem to some, this is nothing short of a brilliant absurdist piece that must have thrilled Broadway audiences when the Marx Brothers first did "The Cocoanuts" live on the stage.

I can find nothing wrong with any of it...

Cocoanuts is just brilliant. I watched it as a musical and treated all the comedy just a bonus and it worked so well. It can be said that this is one of the best 1920's theme movies of all time, even if there are no gangsters and tommy guns. The Jazzy feeling is more authentic that it is in 'Chicago'.

Play it again, Frank, I don't give a damn.
