Anybody catch Groucho almost call Chico, Ravelli? At least twice in the why a duck/wire fence scene, Groucho says, "Look, Rav..." before he continues with his lines.
I believe that the Bros were performing Animal Crackers on Broadway at night and filming Cocoanuts during the day and that is why.
But let's face it, Groucho and Chico together were magic! Harpo and Chico were insane!

well for one thing, a butler announces when the guests arrive and mentions Chico's full name right before he walks in. and for another thing, that's all I was going to say.

All the butler says is "Senor Ravelli," and the IMDb lists his character's name as "Chico" -so my supposition about the character being named Chico Ravelli is still valid...so there!

You're thinking of Animal Crackers. In The Cocoanuts his name is much, much longer. I don't recall if Ravelli was part of the name or not, but I don't think it was.

The subtitles for this scene showed Groucho as saying "Look, rube."
However, that really means nothing, as I have noticed many subtitling errors from what is actually being said.
For instance, at the start of the movie, it just said "Singing unintelligibly"

Groucho does indeed say "Look, rube" among his casual insults to Chico. He isn't about to say Ravelli and correcting himself.
