It's very sad, because, after the Marx Bros., she was the most appealing thing in the movie.
She was pretty, charming, and had a lovely singing voice.
I had read somewhere that Zeppo was the original choice as her love interest; I wish he was--Oscar Shaw was nothing but an untalented oaf.
BTW, her sister was Doris Eaton, the last of the Ziegfeld Girls, who lived to age 106.
