Ok I thought this film was great for its style and shots, but did it have to be so dam long?

This film could be looped to repeat for eternity and it wouldn't be a bad thing. Perhaps one of the finest examples of a film to keep running so that future aliens can see it and learn about us after the species has long since turned to dust.
