Sir Frederick, the first Chan?

Toward the end of the movie you could have substituted the Chan we know from later films for Sir Frederick and it would have sounded the same, complete with pithy sayings and slow speech as if English weren't his first language. Very polite, these determined detectives from the mystic west. :)
