Your favorite scene?

First of all, I was very impressed with the naturalistic acting and gorgeous, striking cinematography.

When you compare "Woman of Affairs" to Garbo's first talkie, "Anna Christie," made just 2 years later, you can see why many felt that the onset of talkies led to the decline of the art of silent film cinematography. (Early sound films were very limited by the large cameras and the limited movement of those cameras - and consequently, the actors - because of the clunky and sensitive microphones.)

My favorite scene has got to be when Garbo is in the hospital, wandering around deliriously, cradling the flowers as if they were her lost child. What a truly moving scene. Garbo was phenomenal as Diana.

My favorite scene is when Garbo is reclining on the the sofa/bed in Nevs flat. She looks very sensual and desireable

One scene that stands out is finding Diana, wearing a special ring on her finger, making love to Neville on the couch, with Diana telling him, "I would only take it off for the man I love." The camera then pans down to her hand just as the ring slowly slips off her finger.

Someone wrote this, describing so well that beautiful scene...pure perfection.
