Dorothy Sebastian was super hot.

I've only seen a few of her films but I would love to see more. Don't get me wrong, my main girl is still Greta, but Dorothy was incredibly gorgeous in her day. Anyone else agree?

I was more impressed by the kind-hearted role she played rather than her beauty. I have to say I did not think she was particularly beautiful, but perhaps the shingled haircut and the old-fashioned make-up did not help.
I thought Garbo was stunningly beautiful and her hairstyle more natural and attractive than Sebastian's. I am glad Garbo did not try to break up her (Sebastian's) on-screen marriage to Gilbert.

I'm not sure which movie you were watching but in the one I saw Diana was all set to run off to South America with Neville. She knew he was married to Constance at the time. The only thing that derailed their plans was what happened at Sir Morton's house.

She went there at his request but she had no intentions of letting that stop her. It was mostly Neville's behavior that caused her to change her mind. It's possible the card and the fact Constance was there played a role too but after the disappointment with Neville she gave up. She felt defeated; she had nothing left to fight for.

Just saw this film and I really have to agree. Dorothy was really quite stunning in this. I've a weakness for women of the 1920's, I confess. The pinnacle of the sexy female.

Her face kind of reminds me of Betty Boop but this movie was made a few years before Betty Boop was created. It's not surprising, I think a lot of women had that look in those days; it was flapper fashion.
